Why I Love My Job

Because my staffmates and I can play random pranks on my boss.

This may require some explanation, and it may not even be funny to non-Nature's Classroom folk. But here goes.

There is an approved class called Pipe-a-saurus Park in the Nature's Classroom guides. It's pretty ridiculous, but essentially the kids make dinosaurs out of pipe cleaners, divide into teams, and then hide their dinosaurs in a designated area where they are supposed to camoflauge them to the point that the other team can't find them.

We based our on this class and decided to make a Pipe-a-saurus Park in the house where our boss lives. Making the dinosaurs, we started getting creative to the point that we decided to replace objects in his house with pipe cleaner versions. We sat in our staff house Saturday evening giggling as we constructed a pipe cleaner razor, pair of shoes, pencil, scissors, fork, knife, spoon, mug, toothbrush, toothpaste, pillow, walking stick, etc. Plus, there were all the random animals hidden all over his room. Over one hundred, to be exact. We decided he had to redeem his real belongings by finding and bringing us the pipe cleaner versions.

I don't know why this struck us as so hilarious, but we were tickled with the prank, and I think our boss is still finding pipe cleaner animals as the week goes on.
