Well, I’m here in the lovely state of Connecticut, in a patch of forest east of Hartford. It’s orientation this week, and activities have been low key. Kids come next week, but it’s a small group, so I’ll get to ease into things and won’t have to teach the full load of classes until the following week. Two of the five other staff members are RPCVs, it so the crowd that Nature’s Classroom (NC) attracts seems to be my type of people. We have a good banter going already, and I think the season will be full of laughs.
