You Know the Semester is Starting When...
you wake up from a nap at your desk and have sleeve prints on your face.
This is the second day in a row I wanted a nap in the afternoon. Both times I was studying stats, so I don't know whether it was the material or the time of day. I succumbed both times to a head-on-desk napping position that I used to be able to do for hours at Pomona's Science Library. Either I need to become a caffeine addict or I'm going to have to get used to that tingly feeling in my arm.

Does this mean you were wearing long sleeves? Just how cold is it in Florida?
Yes, I was wearing long sleeves. And I keep a shirt in my office because I tend to get cold when I'm sitting for a long time in AC. I've discovered I like a narrow range of temps around 80F.
This one time in high school I wasn't feeling well and ended up falling asleep in the library and missing most of history class and then when I went to explain to my teacher, she believed me in part because I had library-couch patterning all over my face.
