Arguments in Favor of Squat Toilets

I was inspired to write a short piece to submit to the Peace Corps Latrine Reader, which will be a collection of humorous travel accounts. Doing a bit of research today, I discovered that Wikipedia reports the following as one of the arguments in favor of squat toilets.

The splashing of water on the buttocks after a heavy defecation does not occur.
